40 Over tournament is MCA Premier Tournament. The 40 over season is usually 13 week long split among Division 1 and Division 2. The Schedule is revised yearly and subject to Board approval. During the 13 weeks, almost 200+ games are played at all of 5 MCA grounds. The league follows a division format and so teams are split based on their performance to either Division 1 or 2. The playing rules are aligned with the ICC cricket rules except a few notably rain out day rule.

MCA Executive Committee is instrumental in starting and ending the season within schedule and handle all management affairs during the season. A 40 Over Tournament is usually followed by fast pased 20/20 Tournament.
