I am honored and very excited to announce Saminda Siriwerdena and Syed Fawad Raza's selection for the Western Conference team representing our own Central East Region and Minnesota Cricket Association to the National Cricket Championship in Lauderhill, Florida.

The National Cricket Championship tournament will be between November 13th & 15th in USA's only ICC approved Cricket stadium (Central Broward Regional Park). This is a great venue, best in the US and USACA expects there will be a huge turn out of many national and international Cricket stars and organizers. Officials from ICC are attending to witness the top most senior men's tournament in the USA. Team USA will be picked from the top four finalist teams, Central East, South West, South East and New York regions. New York region was the champion of the Eastern conference championship.

I like to congratulate (please join me) both Fawad & Saminda for their hard work and dedication to reach this far and make MCA proud. I will be joining them representing Central East region administrators and attend the USACA meetings during the tournament as well. This is great news for all of us! Below are few information on the venue and the tournament. Please feel free to join us in the great tournament as you like. I also heard that there will be a day-night tournament between Trinidad, Jamaica & US national teams during the same weekend!
